MODEL NOTES

Know what you’re looking at.

This is a hand-built educational model of the T4’s major assemblies. It is not a scan, an exact CAD replica, or a complete inventory of every screw and spring.

Documented functions

The original Konica instruction manual establishes external controls, operating behavior, body dimensions and the shutter type.

Approximate geometry

Shapes, blade counts, fasteners, internal lever routes and the virtual removal order are illustrative. “Manual” labels verify the named component or function, not its modeled geometry.

We have not located and verified a T4 factory service manual or full parts drawing. T3 and TC drawings are not treated as exact T4 internals.

Runs locally with no account, uploads or telemetry. Your workbench is saved in this browser when local storage is available. Source links require an internet connection.

YOUR CAMERA

Explore the stuck shutter.

You reported: “shutter sticks and won’t go down.” Your camera has no film loaded.

That can describe a release button that will not depress, a mirror that stays raised, or shutter blades that do not travel. The symptom alone does not identify the faulty part.

A documented connection to start with

On the T4, folding the advance lever home with the switch turns the meter off and locks the shutter-release button. With the lever at its ready position, the red index is visible. See the original manual, printed page 16.

Use the links below to inspect those assemblies virtually. Avoid forcing a stuck control or pushing the mirror or shutter blades.
